Disney first produced this lavish epic of ancient Egypt, a classic tale of forbidden love told as only pop music legend Elton John and Tim Rice (Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) can. Aida, a wise and beautiful Nubian princess, is captured by the mighty, passionate Egyptian captain Radames, who falls in love with her, yet he can only be with her if he gives her as a handmaiden to the princess he must marry. A winner of 4 2000 Tony Awards including Best Original Musical Score, Giuseppe Verdi’s story is boldly reincarnated into a new extravagant feast for all the senses.

The glory of Gilbert and Sullivan at it’s hilariously swashbuckling best! Frederick, son of a wealthy 19th century man was to be apprenticed to a pilot, yet due to a hard-of-hearing nursery maid, was instead apprenticed to a pirate. His love for sweet, innocent Mabel, and his devotion to his pirate family and leave this poor “Slave of Duty” split right down the middle! Great fun, sidesplitting laughs, and bombastic vocal performances have made this a favorite of audiences worldwide for over 125 years!

Dr. Martin Dysart, a psychiatrist, is confronted with Alan Strang, a boy who has blinded six horses in a violent fit of passion. This very passion is as foreign to Dysart as the act itself. To the boy's parents it is a hideous mystery; Alan has always adored horses. To Dysart it is a psychological puzzle that leads both doctor and patient to a complex and disturbingly dramatic confrontation. This international success reached new acclaim in London and on Broadway when revived in 2008.

A trio of Christopher Durang's hilarious comedies:
For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls is a rollicking parody of The Glass Menagerie in which Amanda, the fading Southern belle, is preparing her hypochondriac son, Lawrence, to meet the "feminine caller."
'Dentity Crisis is a dark comedy that skewers modern psychiatry with an irreverent mixture of parody, satire and nonsense.
The Actor's Nightmare is one of Durang's most popular comedies about a hapless accountant who wanders into a theatre and is pushed on stage to star in a series of prominent roles. Unfortunately, he can't remember what plays they're doing, or even if he's an actor at all!

Seeing how much their wives enjoy watching male strippers during their "Girls' Night Out," unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. In the process they find renewed self-esteem, the importance of friendship and the ability to have fun.
As the guys work through their fears, self-consciousness, feelings of worthlessness and anxieties (over everything from being overweight to child custody, bigotry to being gay), they come to discover that not only are they stronger as a group, but that the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to face their demons and overcome them.
There is great heart to THE FULL MONTY, and the ultimate themes expressed in the show, about taking charge of one's life and following one's dreams are great lessons for all of us. And truth be told, through creative directing and staging, the final impact of "The Full Monty" can be achieved without ever losing your jockey shorts!
